Yaki Yaki Japanese Barbeque Buffet Restaurant
April 25, 2009 | 11:50 pmI wanted to try Yaki Yaki restaurant all this while and finally today I have make it to there. I have been to quite a lot of Japanese restaurant like Umaiya, Teji, Jogoya and now Yaki yaki. Basically Yaki yaki is having different concept compare to others where they are serving salted chicken, beef, mutton and other food and vege for the barbeque purpose.
Frankly speaking, it’s really not my cup of tea as I would prefer more ready food and more food variety for me to choose. Obviously the choice of food over there is lesser and taste of the food is so so only. Anyway, it’s only my personal preference, other people may find their foods tasty.
The charges for the lunch ( 11am – 3pm) is RM42 (all in). For paying this price, I would rather go to Umaiya which is around RM 50. But as I said, this is only my personal preference and other may love Japanese’s barbeque concept.
Yaki yaki is located just next to Federal hotel and Low yat

The interor just normal. Nothing to shout about

salted food area

Few type of Soup is serving

For Crab lover

Jelly and pudding

Beverages area. I’m very disappointed as no coconut drink is served today.

This room is really good for a group gathering.

Oyster and Sashimi will be served upon request

Full force to grill the beef belly and mutton.

Coconut Jelly. This is the best. Haha…

i had dined in yaki-yaki today. it was the worst
ewah88 | September 30, 2009 | 2:14 ami had dined in yaki-yaki today. it was the worst customer service i’ve ever had by the current supervisor – Queen. showed her disrespectful to customers very well. lunch time should be 11am-2.30pm. but at 2.10pm she started to collect plates that still serving food on my table without asking my permission. when i was complaining to her, SHE DIDN’T EVEN CARE and ran away. at the end, i “forced” to get out of the restaurant and by the time it was only 2.15pm. in conclusion, it was the worst experience for me in F&B industry in malaysia. it wasn’t worth for us to spend money (service tax) to get this kind of bad customer service. customers should be very happy during and after enjoying their meal. thanks for attention to all consumer. spend your money intelligently by choosing the right restaurant with right customer service. we have consumer rights.
