My favorite duck mee and pork satay
March 30, 2009 | 7:48 amAlmost 2 months I didn’t go back to Malacca and the last time i went home should be the last chinese new year. I miss my parents very much and of course the local food of malacca. Duck mee and pork satay are my favorite and is a must eat food for me whenever I go back to malacca. Though the shop never been mentioned by any newspaper for their food ( as far as I know ),they always my choice when I’m looking for food.
Initially, I planned to try the “Putu Piring” which was recommended by axian. I didn’t even know that there is a famous putu piring in Malacca, what a shammed for being malaccan for the more than 30 years. But I was so disappointed when found out that the shop will close for one month due to the owner’s health problem.Never mind, I definitely will go and try again next month.
So no choice, back to my favorite duck mee again this time.
Sharing some photos here for my “makan” session

The next day, before heading back to KL. We went for our favorite Pork satay located near Mahkota Parade – Malacca. If you are the lover of the pork intestine and the spare part of the pork, then this is a place you must go and try. They are famous for the pork satay which is quite hard to get in KL and the specialty of their satay is its peanut sauce because they mix it with some pineapple and it giving a sour n spicy taste! The flavour is so unique and I love it so much
